
"Looking at Licensing...Again" by President P. Leonard Jones in the March issue of NYARM is exactly right. The Superintendents Club of New York is in full agreement. Supers' jobs are easier and much more productive when they report to a manager that knows the ropes.
By the same token, we are looking forward to certification of supers' skills. A manager's life is a lot easier and more productive when he/she is working with a trained super. I hope that, in time, the Club and NYARM can join forces to make that happen.
Thanks for sending NYARM to our Club members. There is always an article that is valuable to maintenance persons as well as the managers.
