Yale Robbins, Inc. was founded 23 years ago by Robbins to compile and analyze real estate market data. He was soon joined by his brother Henry, and today the firm publishes dozens of directories in the New York metropolitan area and selected regions throughout the country. The directories provide a wealth of information about properties, including ownership, managing agents, amenities, size, etc. Moreover, there are directories for both residential and commercial real estate sectors.

The Cooperator was founded in 1980 by Matt Kovner and Vicki Chesler, who will continue to be affiliated with the publication as consultants.
"We want to assure our readers and advertisers that the quality they have come to expect from The Cooperator and its products and services will continue," explains Matt Kovner, The Cooperators publisher and co-founder, as he prepares to pass the proverbial torch. "Under the stewardship of Yale Robbins, our original vision and hard work will grow and improve, without losing the personal appeal that identifies the publication."
Executive editor and co-founder Vicki Chesler points out, "We started The Cooperator nearly 20 years ago to provide information to co-op and condo owners. Over the years, we produced the annual Co-op & Condo Expo, wrote books, and developed our Continuing Education series to further create learning opportunities for apartment owners, buyers and industry professionals. We are confident that Yale Robbins will continue to provide the same level of journalistic integrity and dedication to quality service that we have always offered our readers and customers."
