
The highlight of the New York Association of Realty Manager’s monthly dinner meeting Wednesday, March 28 at Frank’s Restaurant, 85 Tenth Avenue (15th Street), will be guest speaker Marian Morgan, CSW, a well known consultant to Fortune 500 companies whose lectures include techniques for alleviating stress in the workplace, announces Donna Klein, executive director of NYARM.
“This is an unusual, but important, topic of discussion for our monthly meeting,” says Ms. Klein. “We felt it was a wonderful service to our members to address the personal side of management, which is without a doubt a very stressful profession.”
AIn addition to growing up in a prominent real estate family, Ms. Morgan has worked in the fast-paced field of advertising, and has lived in a world of meeting deadlines, achieving quotas and getting results. Capitalizing on these experiences, she returned to school at New York University where she received a Masters in Social Work, and was additionally certified through the prestigious Karen Horney Institute. Her work includes techniques for increasing vitality, improving organization, aligning priorities based on values and identifying and reducing energy draining sources.
