It has become tradition that on the last regularly scheduled monthly meeting night of the membership year, the New York Association of Realty Managers (NYARM) hosts a membership party. This year, we leased the ship The Mystique and nearly 200 members and friends left the East 23^rd Street Pier in Manhattan on the evening of June 23^rd, 1999.

The recently renovated two indoor levels of the ship were outfitted with beautifully adorned tables, a bar and a buffet table of fabulous food. The upper, outdoor level of the ship had a canopied dance floor with a disc jockey who had the ship rockin’ and rollin’ in no time.

What a wonderful moment when the DJ played Neil Diamond’s "Coming to America" (from the movie, The Jazz Singer) as we sailed around the Statue of Liberty. New York City, the Hudson and East Rivers can only look this beautiful from the deck of a ship filled with good friends and associates.

The NYARM anniversary party is a commemoration of the past year’s activities. NYARM is an organization comprised of professional property managers dedicated to the advancement of the management profession. NYARM also has an associate membership consisting of the finest service companies, contractors and vendors in the industry.

The membership year begins on July 1st but membership is accepted throughout the year.
